This is beautiful! Great news for us cyclists who would rather leave their cars at home and ride a bike to work. This makes it easier to park the car on Friday night when you get home from a workweek, then leave it parked until Monday morning after a nice beach-filled weekend. YAY!!!

Seems that over the last half a century there is been many failed attempts to rejuvenate The Rockaways peninsula are really working.

There are some amazing high-end developments in The Rockaways like Ocean Grand, The Seavon, The Beach House and Belle Shores. With this rezoning, it will bring needed retail and more high-end housing making Rockaway an even more valid alternative to the Hamptons.

Rockaway residents awoke Monday, May 12 to what seemed like a DREAM. But it wasn't. Rockaway residents now can take the ferry to work and be in downtown in under an hour. The Rockaway Ferry's maiden voyage was a success and we are looking forward to more robust schedule soon (only 4 ferry trips a day as of May 12). Seen, commuters will also have the option of wireless Internet access on the ferry. WOW!!!
